Brief Résumé of Ivan E. Rozek, 

Ivan started his Electrical Engineering education in the renown technikum in Košice, Czechoslovakia and obtained his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Fenn College of Engineering in Cleveland, OH, with emphasis on Control Systems, Automation and Computer Design.  His early work experience centered on controls for nuclear power plant stand-by generators and secondary cooling pump motors.  Ivan designed many new devices for nuclear power plants, a patented rotating synchronizer for brushless synchronous motors among them.  Ivan continued his professional life as a lead system integration and power control engineer on the B-1 airplane avionics and wind and solar renewable energy projects, all at the Boeing Co.  Ivan completed his engineering experience designing and implementing energy, polution limiting and product quality controls/automation of large rotary kilns at Savantek, Inc., a company Ivan founded.

Ivan passed the US Patent Office bar exam and became a registered patent agent in 2003, practiced in Newcastle, WA and founded Savantek Patent Services in Larkspur, CA in 2014.

Ivan was or is an active member and officer of a few professional and engineering societies, including Washington State Patent Law Association, American Intellectual Property Law Association, Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers, Northwest Artificial Intelligence Forum, Technical Association of Pulp & Paper Industry, Instrument Society of America and National Society of Professional Engineers, after passing the PE exam with highest score in Ohio in 1974.
